The fit and finish of these rifles is fine. The 9422 Legacys are VERY accurate, too. At the end of the old Winchester Company production, the 9422 had more hand work and fitting than any other model in the line. They come in both checkered and un-checkered versions in Walnut an a couple versions with laminate stocks. 2. Winchester 9422, excellent in quality and smooth. Nothing wrong with it what so ever.
